What started as a humble family venture has blossomed into a full-fledged passion project driven by the creativity of two brothers and one sister-in-law. United not only by family ties but by a shared love for LEGO, their journey is a testament to the power of childhood imagination. From the very beginning, the brothers found joy in playing with LEGO, a pastime that helped develop their creativity and problem-solving skills. Those early experiences laid the foundation for what would later become a thriving business and a creative outlet that connects them all.

For Kiko, one of the brothers, LEGO became more than just a childhood hobby. After undergoing open heart surgery, he searched for a way to keep himself engaged and discovered his childhood LEGO collection tucked away in his parents’ storage. What started as a way to pass the time during recovery became a pivotal moment in his life, as he found renewed passion in building. It was through this rediscovery that Kiko’s journey as a renowned LEGO MOC (My Own Creation) designer truly began.
This creative process not only aided his recovery but also led him to inspire many others within the LEGO community.

PHASE 1: The spark of an idea

Every great creation begins with a single spark of inspiration, but that spark is fueled by the world around us and the experiences that have shaped us over time. Our ideas are drawn from many sources, whether it’s the significant events of today’s world, pivotal moments in history, or the memories we’ve carried with us from childhood into adulthood.

These could be the beloved bands we grew up with, the cult films we watched over and over, or the iconic figures who left an indelible mark on our lives. Every one of these influences shapes our creative process, guiding the stories we tell through our designs. We believe that what stirs our imagination will resonate with others in much the same way.

The excitement we feel when bringing these ideas to life is something we want to share with the world, allowing people to connect with the same sources of inspiration that have moved and excited us for years.

PHASE 2: The design

The design process lies at the core of everything we do, and it unfolds in two distinct stages. We always begin with the minifigure, which serves as the centerpiece of our entire creation.

Crafting the minifigure is a meticulous process—we take great care to design the face of our object so that it’s instantly recognizable, capturing its essence in a way that immediately resonates with anyone who sees it. But the work doesn’t stop there.
Alongside the face, we carefully design the minifigure’s clothing and accessories, ensuring they are iconic and true to the object’s identity. Every element is created from scratch, with attention to detail so that it aligns perfectly with our vision.

Once the minifigure is fully brought to life, we move on to the next stage: creating the diorama. We use 3D software to build the diorama, paying close attention to every detail, and making sure that the setting complements the minifigure and fits seamlessly into our original concept.

PHASE 3: It's alive I tell you, alive!

Once the design is finalized, we make the transition from digital concept to physical creation. This exciting stage begins with the building of the actual model using genuine LEGO bricks, where we carefully follow the design blueprint.

As we build, we conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that every step of the assembly process is accurate and smooth. The building instructions are scrutinized to ensure they are clear and easy to follow, leaving no room for confusion. This is where our small, trusted testers come in—whether they are young or old, these keen eyes help us verify that everything fits together just as it should. Their feedback is invaluable in catching even the smallest detail that may need adjustment.

We rely on them to test the model’s buildability and ensure the process is flawless. By the end of this stage, we have not only a well-constructed model but also a set of tested, precise building instructions that anyone can confidently follow.

PHASE 4: High-Quality pad printing

With the completed design in hand, we move forward to the production phase, where the vision truly comes to life. The first major task in production is printing the custom LEGO pieces that require unique designs.

To achieve the highest level of quality, we use pad printing technology, which allows us to ensure sharp, precise, and durable graphics on each piece. This process highlights our commitment to craftsmanship and detail. Unlike mass-produced sets, we do not rely on stickers, UV printing, or decals, as we believe in creating a product that lasts. Pad printing gives the designs a professional, polished look that complements the high-quality standards we aim for.

Every detail, from facial expressions on minifigures to intricate designs on accessories, is rendered with care. Our goal is to produce LEGO pieces that feel authentic, sturdy, and collectible, ensuring that the final product is as special as the vision that inspired it.

PHASE 5: The final touch

When all the pieces of the set are prepared, we turn our attention to the final touches in our small studio, focusing on the packaging. We approach this step with the same level of care and dedication that we apply to the design and production of the LEGO pieces themselves.

Each box is crafted by hand to precise specifications, ensuring that the dimensions are perfect and that the packaging reflects the quality of the product inside. The experience of unboxing is important to us, so we include satin bags to hold the LEGO bricks, adding an extra layer of elegance to the set. Additionally, a beautifully bound, professional-quality instruction manual is provided, making the assembly process both enjoyable and smooth.

Each set also comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity, reinforcing the idea that this is a truly special and unique item. Every detail of the packaging is carefully considered to enhance the overall experience of owning and building the set.

PHASE 6: Preparing for dispatch

The final and perhaps most critical step in our process is the rigorous quality control check. We pride ourselves on the level of attention and care we give to every single product. Each minifigure and every individual LEGO piece is thoroughly inspected by hand to ensure it meets our exacting standards.

This meticulous inspection process allows us to catch even the smallest imperfections, guaranteeing that every product we release is flawless. It’s this level of detail that sets our sets apart and ensures that the final product is something we can be proud of. Because of our commitment to quality, we produce our sets in limited quantities.

This allows us to give each set the attention it deserves and maintain a high level of craftsmanship throughout the entire production process. By the time a set reaches the hands of a customer, they can be confident that it has been carefully crafted and inspected to perfection.
